Ballet

You can start Ballet from adult here. Don't worry about how is your flexibility and so on. The teacher will teach following your physical fitness and experience.

Men can learn from this class also.

The teacher is a active dancer.

Ballet have longer history than the other kind of stage dances. Ballet is born in Italy, 15th century, and it became international trend art in France and is a central dance in whole Europe. It is disappeared in Europe, 19th century but reborn in Russia and become important there.

Its skill was polished up for several hundred years so it is just dance for stage and more focus on making beautiful body movement and line than social dances like salsa dance ,swing and so on.

Since three years old, she started ballet. When she was 16, she went to America and learn ballet for 2 years. After that, she perform as a soloist of Japan Ballet Association. From 2011, she belong to Mexico BALLET de Monterrey. She won 2nd place of Japan Ballet Contest.

SHOKO

She started ballet at the age of four and after graduating from high school went to Switzerland and Italy to study ballet and contemporary dance. Since returning to Japan, she has participated in many performances in Japan and abroad. At the same time, she has been teaching ballet, contemporary dance and children's dance to children and adults at ballet schools and fitness clubs.

She has been a member of Yamato City Ballet since 2020.

1st/3rd Saturday 13:00  Kids class

This is a class where you can enjoy learning ballet, which is the basis of all dances, from young children.This lesson is all in English.

 

We will cultivate the expressiveness and musicality necessary for ballet, and value the individuality and imagination of each child.

In the class,we have various dances such as cute princesses, cool princes, animals and cupids.. that everyone once admired.』
